Robert (Bob) is justifiably regarded as property royalty throughout the industry. Together with architect Henry Pollack, Bob co-founded development giant Mirvac Group in 1972. During his thirty-year reign as Managing Director, Mirvac experienced extraordinary growth and was floated in 1987 with an initial market capitalisation of $100m. In 2005, he passed over leadership to one of our previous interview guests - Greg Paramor AO. By this juncture of Bob’s leadership, Mirvac had delivered in excess of thirty thousand residences across world-leading precincts such as Beacon Cove in Melbourne and Olympic Village in Sydney. Market capitalisation had reached over $3.5b and today sits at circa $12b.
